Rehmat Aziz has a Keyboard for you, Happy Khowar Typing

Karachi— Khowar Language researcher and author, Rehmat Aziz Chitrali, in collaboration with Khowar Academy, Chitral Vision, Wikimedia Foundation and Branah Company has produced a Virtual Keyboard for Khowar language, a language spoken in Northern valleys of Pakistan — Chitral, Swat, Ghizer (Gilgit-Baltistan) , Sheghnan(Afghanistan), Chatur (India) and Xinjinag(China).

Rehmat Aziz Chitrali’s Virtual Khowar Keyboard enables Khowar language users to type online conveniently without installing it on local machine. The keyboard can be used by clicking on letters keys or simply by typing, using physical computer keyboard.

Rehamat Aziz talking to this scribe said that the Esc key toggles the keyboard input between virtual QWERTY keyboard and virtual Khowar keyboard. The key also turns on and off the keyboard input conversion. The Esc key on the keyboard has the same function.

The virtual keyboard at first appearance seems to be similar to that of the Urdu Phonetic Keyboard but it has additional characters for Khowar language.
