Samina Baig becomes the first Pakistani to scale Mount Everest

The pride of Everest must have bowed before the will and determination of Samina Baig when she was gearing up to attempt the earth’s highest mountain. The daughter of the North stamped ‘Mission Accomplished’ scaling Everest on Sunday at 7:40 AM, here in Nepal. She became the first Pakistani lady to conquer the mighty Everest. Samina was accompanied by her brother, Mirza Ali who registered himself as the youngest Pakistani to scale Everest.

Islamabad Literature Festival to Kick Off on Tuesday

Prophet Muhammad a symbol of ‘Tolerance’: ITREB

ISLAMABAD: The Shia Imami Ismaili Tariqah and Religious Education Board (ITREB) recently organized a Seerat Conference at the Islamabad Serena Hotel.

“The Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) as a Symbol of Tolerance” is the theme of this year’s Conference. The conference revolved around the theme and saw many eminent scholars from across the country present papers on the importance of tolerance in light of the Holy Prophet’s teachings.
