Cleanliness drive kicked off in Chitral under the district administration
CHITRAL: The district administration Chitral under the supervision of the deputy commissioner Usama Waraich kicked off cleanliness drive. In this connection an awareness walk was held which started from DC office and ended at Government Centennial Model High School Chitral. DC Chitral chief Municipal Officer, District Health Officer, students and TMA staff and social workers from Chitral join this rally.
Later on the deputy commissioner along with other participants visited District Headquarters Hospital Chitral and started cleanliness drive.
Talking to the media DC Chitral Mr. Waraich said that through this one week campaign they will reach to almost all areas of the region.
“This is the main big hospital of the district where there is unfortunately huge piles of garbage and we started from here to motivate other people to keep clean their surroundings”, he added.
He also said that 15 chemist and druggist shops, kitchen of hotels, bakeries and butchers’ shops have been sealed on the basis of cleanliness issue.
