ANP Chitral Swears in new office bearers
CHITRAL—The newly elected office bearers of Awami National Party (ANP) took oath in a brief Oath-taking ceremony at Governor Cottage Chitral. Provincial Minister for Live stock Haji Hidayatullah was the chief guest on the occasion who sworn in the elected office bearers (cabinet) of ANP Chitral district.
General Secretary of ANP Tajuddin, Imran Afridi and Shuaib Khan President ANP Malakand were also present on the occasion. Addressing on the occasion provincial Minister Hidayatullah said that ANP is a party that believes in the none-aggressive political philosophy of Bacha Khan and that he has always been fond of Chitral for its peace and serenity.
He claimed that out of 110 billion rupees earmarked by federal government to the province, a huge chunk would be invested in Chitral for up-gradation of power supply and augmentation of voltage of electricity. He said that provincial government of ANP having keen interest in the development of Chitral will ensure that all the roads are metalled in the entire district.
He said that Abdul Wali Khan university Campus is a blessing for youth of Chitral as students will have access to education at their doorstep. He stressed upon party workers to show maximum altruism and work for those who need support.
Later, the provincial Minister visited a venue where a 9-day training on Human rights, political concepts, good governance and leadership skill was in progress. The minister had an interaction with the training participants— who expressed their views on the progress of the training. Here the minister disclosed that the KP government had already released 2 billion for Lowari tunnel. He also said that a cooperative bank will be opened soon that will provide interest free loans to students who aspire to pursue their degrees but could not do so due to financial arrangements.
