139 Pakistani Students to leave for America under the UGRAD Exchange Program
Islamabad: Under the auspices of the United States Educational Foundation, Pakistan (USEFP), 139 students of Pakistan were given a pre-departure orientation (PDO) here on Thursday at Serena Hotel Islamabad. These university students are enrolled in different BS programs in the country in different universities and were selected for spending a semester in the US under the Global UGRAD Exchange Program after a rigorous selection process.
The students were briefed about the program, travel details, visa regulations, U.S. culture, campus life, effective time usage and the expectations that the program seeks in general.
The students were pretty much pleased to have availed this opportunity. They were excited to represent the soft image of their country in the United States.
Out of the 139 selected students, 15 are from Gilgit-Baltistan.
