8th Karachi Literature Festival to kick off in the second week of February

Karachi: A three-day Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) aiming at bringing together Pakistani and international writers to promote reading and showcase their writings, will begin on Friday February 10, 2017 at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.

This literary festival will bring a galaxy of literary figures, anchor persons, journalists and many literature lovers, together. Talks, interviews, panel discussions, readings, book launches, mushaira, author signings, book fair, food court and other similar events are the main components of this festival. Through these events the writers and speakers will shed light on multifarious issues including international and regional politics, problems faced by minorities and facts from history etc.

According to the program schedule shared by the Oxford University Press, acclaimed writers Mustansar Hussain Tarar and Ayesha Jalal will be addressing the inaugural session.

Oxford University Press, Pakistan is arranging this festival and it’s the 8th festival of its kind being held in Karachi.
