Jamie Foxx is recovering after a medical complication, his daughter said Wednesday.
The 55-year-old actor’s daughter Corinne Fox He issued a statement that day Instagram Foxx shares news of the situation on behalf of the family.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday (April 11),” the statement read. “Fortunately, due to quick action and intensive care, he is already on the road to recovery.”
“We know how much he was loved and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy at this time,” it concluded.
No further information on Jamie Foxx’s medical issue has been released. Comments were also moderated on the 29-year-old actor’s post.
Jamie Foxx shares Corinne Foxx with ex Connie Cline. He is also the father of Annalise Bishop, who was with Christine Grannis.
Jamie and Corinne Foxx often work together, including on the show “Beat Shazam”, which Jamie hosts and her daughter DJs.
