Mountain Climber Samina Baig on the Empowerment of Women and Girls

Samina Baig is the first Pakistani and youngest Muslim woman to summit Mount Everest at the age of 21. Samina went on to become the first Pakistani and Muslim woman to successfully climb the seven summits, the highest mountain on each of the seven continents. In 2010 she was the first to summit Chashkin Sar (above 6,000 meters), which was later renamed Samina Peak after her.
